MODBUS RS 485 C# Desktop Application

1. Modbus is a serial communication protocol developed by Modicon published by Modicon in 1979 for use with its programmable logic controllers (PLCs). In simple terms, it is a method used for transmitting information over serial lines between electronic devices.

Electronic Voting Machine

 

Electronic Voting Machine:

  Login 
Admin Login:

1. Enter 0321 in PIN CODE text box.
2. Press One time Down arrow Key (for Focus blue login button).
3. Press Enter from Keyboard.
4. Lock image turn red to green as show in figure bellow. Means successfully login.

5. After login Main menu screen open.

User Login :

1. Enter 74200 in PIN CODE text box.
2. Press one time down arrow Key (for Focus blue login button).
3. Press Enter from Keyboard.
4. Lock image turn red to green as show in figure bellow. Means successfully login.

5. After login Main menu screen open

Electronic Voting Machine:
1. Use up and down arrow key to select Main menu options
2. Use Enter Key to Open Electronic voting machine.

3. Screen Show.

4. Enter CNIC Number in text box press ENTER key in keyboard.
5. When you enter wrong CNIC number message Show in screen and identified bulb turn RED.

6. When you enter correct CNIC number identified bulb turn green and voter information show in voter information table.

7. Press “Z” for finger print. Finger print bulb turn green and Start Session button in the footer will enable.

8. Use arrows Key to click “Start Session” button. Voting session will start.
9. Screen show .

10. Press A to J keys from keyboard and vote candidate.
Back to the Main Menu Screen :
1. Press “dot” button for back. In all screens.

Import Voter list and Candidate from Back Server
1. Press Import Data Option in Main menu screen.

2. Import Screen will open.
3. If enter IP address of EVM textbox show IP 0.0.0.0 it means your machine not connect to internet. So please connect to internet. go to settings and ON Wi-Fi option.

4. If enter IP address of EVM textbox already show IP like 10.0.0.127 means internet connect.
5. Insert port no 4441 in enter port text box through prompt open type server listening port for receive voter list.

6. Insert IP of Server  in enter IP address of server text box through prompt for receive voter list.

7. Then press Receive data button.

8. Importing data.

9. Then Click Insert Voter Button immediately.

10. Repeat all steps for candidate but change port 4444.
View Statistics :
1. Press View Data Screen.

2. Screen Show.

Log out:
1. Select logout option for logout.
Cast vote from EVM to server:
1. Goto Import data screen insert IP of the server in enter server IP textbox and port 4441 and wait doesn’t matter what message show. EVM successfully connect to the server.
